I like having a seat next to the stairs to avoid having to go past people.

Most theaters do the reserved seating system now bruh

Lmaooo I admit I go to my not so big local theater to have quiet and calm viewings so idk how it works in bigger cinemas

But last time I went to one of the bigger theaters I don't remember having to pre order my seat

For the vast majority of Regal and AMC theaters you gotta purchase your tickets ahead of time now. Go on Fandango and you'll see.
You choose your specific seat and everything

That's why people stay up late to cop tix as soon as they go on sale, so they don't end up with a s***ty seat all the way in the front. Or to avoid the theater selling out and taking an L on premiere night

Oh well I'm not in' the USA either so maybe thats got something to do with it
