drake actually still makes very good music i like some of his more recent music than scorpion for example but i think some stans are excusing catchy but artistically void songs like search and rescue by saying “well a bunch of people listened so obviously it’s good”

It’s a hit, but not a mega-hit. People know the 21 hook from the memes, but there’s an entire second half of the song that the average person would not be able to recall

he can still make stuff that i find great (like on FATD, i love BBL Love, Drew A Picasso, Bahamas Promises, whatever) but as an entire project just no lol

i feel the same way about Views onward (although Views had a lot more gems than basically most of his stuff since that album)

Look at Sicko Mode, it’s 6 minutes and people know word for word the entire song.
