Neighbors have a dog that barks non stop. I know people use non stop usely but I legitimately mean they leave it out on the patio to bark from 12am- 11-59 pm everyday , causing a chain reaction of neglected mutant dogs just barking at each other . How do I remedy this situation because it’s legitimately f***ing with me , noise canceling air pod pro do nothing

I had a similar situation for a while until I think they finally got evicted. It f***ing sucked.

First I spoke with the owner directly, but that didn't really do anything.

Then, since we lived in the same apartment complex, I asked my landlord to tell them to shut the f*** up, but that didn't really help either.

I also tried to contact animal control, but in my city that's quite difficult. I sent an email, but I don't know if anyone ever saw it.

Then I just schemed up crazy ways to f*** with them/ get revenge on them, but never did anything because I didn't want to deal with the consequences.

now with this robot dog you have to train it to hush the dog

next you turn on your water hose an you spray your window so they can’t see you after a month it should stop

Earplugs work surprisingly well for a lot of s*** like that. Got noisy upstairs neighbors and it blocks out their dropping of bowling balls and stomping of feet completely. Not sure how it'd fare with a dog barking though

"neglected" yes very intelligent of you to recognize that a normal dog doesn't behave this way if it's taken care of. the owner needs to walk it and take care of it.

sadly anyone can acquire a pet and there's no requirements for how the animal must be treated, so anyone can legally acquire a pet and do (or don't) do whatever the hell they want with it

i think a lot of people just aren't open minded enough to hear their dog barking and realize something is wrong and to research it and make things right.

i personally have never heard of a solution to this problem. use google to find relevant reddit threads and try chatgpt. if those two methods don't work then you probably have a problem without a solution.

s*** you know what. you should buy the dog off them and just sell it or keep it LMAO. obviously the owner doesn't care about it. and if you have to pay extra to get it off them just tell the buyer you're saving the dog and you can't keep it and you want to see it go to a good home

friend of mine had one of their neighbors neglected their dog so much they jumped the fence and stole the boy and had them adopted out into a good family. when the neighbors got another dog few weeks later they took better care of em.
