Why not just actually leave ye out of it post-Adidon and then focus on Push? Should’ve let the Scorpion rollout continue like nothing changed and just get the beef out of the way at the time. No way it’s going to sit right to just walk away after Adidon, especially if you actually got some firepower.

I think the message of that video was a bit lost on us, the audience. Drake has professed affinity for the old Neptunes/NERD era and so I took the jewelry in that video as an homage. After hearing this track, it might’ve been more like taunting. Don’t think it really works but makes a bit more sense than making an homage and then dissing shortly thereafter.
On a side note, it’s kinda funny if he actually melted that chain but the 10 year old version of me would be hurt by that lmao, put it in a music museum like the EMP in Seattle or something.

I agree. Really was disappointing to see him go out like that as someone who I know prides himself on hip hop and how cut throat it is when beef is live. I’m inclined to believe that he wants his get back but ultimately that won’t change what happened in 2018 even if they decided to go back on wax imo
