Ultimately, the best that could happen was a stream with Kai Cenat, which also fell through.

Bro yall doing mental gymnastics the average nyc nigga like either hov or nas it’s that plain and simple u may have variations and outliers but that is the two sides of rap also

And if a nigga from Toronto feels that that’s fine, they’re just ed lmfao niggas finna being up Kardinal? I don’t value everyone’s opinion especially delusional people like u described

This s*** applies in every other city lmfao I’m telling u this is different cause this is the ONLY thing that city has given the world

I’m just saying it’s not hard to believe it’s niggas in Toronto might not like Drake the same way I know it’s niggasnin NY that don’t like Jay. Whether you value their opinion doesn’t matter to me.

i said years ago that drake not attending Blue Jays games or even mentioning them as much as the Leafs or Raptors would come back to bite him and well… here we are

Blue Jays might be better off without em, I remember Ohtani got hurt after Ol boy was spotted in his Jersey

There's that but Torontonians also have a weird insecurity thing going on that anyone from the city will tell you about. Drake blowing up and putting the city on clearly didn't do nearly enough to reset that.

ngl theres two facts we need to make clear.

    1. The Toronto crowd being the only show screaming "One more time" after Not Like Us is extremely embarrasing BUT the 2nd fact we also got to accept it Drake can easily do a sold out show at SoFi stadium so the narrative of "performing" in a rival city makes no sense.

Well I mean s*** we saw him do Back to Back in Philly when he was beefin wit Meek. But unfortunately for his fans Kendrick did it first, and ya gotta expect the internet to run wit the narrative lol

Toronto still a beautiful city. Y'all are just spineless and embarrassing and Drake should have never put y'all on, that's all.

    Here she goes!

It would be equally spineless for them to root for him with all sorts of performative antics after he lost the beef just cause "He put Toronto on"

You can criticise people who help you... you know that right?

Toronto is still p****. If Drake did the same thing in LA, yes, crowds would scream back his lyrics but they wouldn't be so pathetic as to ask him to run back his Kendrick diss track again. And that has nothing to do with defending Drake or being a Drake fan. It's just having pride in your city because Kendrick also disses Toronto on Not Like Us.

Lol, not p**** at all, I'll add to that that's probably where most animosity occurs, between folk *from the same city. It literally is nothing new, nor p****. Many folk just can't wait to scream "fuck that guy". Literally the Game not f***ing with Dot during that Drake beef, Toronto doing this now, and I'm sure there are other examples of the concept.

I kinda can because they did a lot more than just cheer for Kendrick lmao. Drake is the biggest thing from that city hip-hop wise. He gave that city its cool factor in a lot of ways. You don't have to like Drake to not pull some weak s*** like screaming for Kendrick to perform Not Like Us again. That's unforgivable and that forever stamps the city as a b****-ass city. Yes, Drake can go to LA and get his shows off, no problem but no LA crowd will scream for Drake to perform a Kendrick diss again. It simply won't happen. It also won't happen to any NY, LA, Chicago or Houston rapper Drake should have a beef with. Those are cities that have the cultural awareness to not let certain fly, even if they're cool with the artist performing. Torontonians don't know anything about that. They're still busy playing little bro to American cities and trying to act/dress like them. That's why they don't have a major identity crisis over there.

No way that Kendrick show got u this tight

    So what

  • Jun 18, 2025
    IRON

hey hey it was a popular song but that doesn't change the fact most songs that get that popular in the streaming era have something fishy going on especially in this unique instance with the whole label potentially backing one side thing

That evident in this case or are making assumptions
