first year psychology student here. at the beginning of the class i was told i had to participate in 9 different research experiments throughout the duration of the semester, but you had to be 18 to participate in those & at the time i wasn't going to be for another month and a half so i went for the alternative, a research report paper where we find a study, a***yze it and write a paper on it. seemed easy enough so i closed the page and set a reminder for a week before classes end to complete that paper.
low and behold reminder pops up so i go to check the requirements and due to my stupidity and poor reading comprehension i found out that, obviously, it's NINE papers for the equivalent credit and not one paper on a study. makes way more sense and my stupid ass thought i was finessing the system by writing only one paper.
anyway now i'll be handing in 9 s***ty ass papers to my professor on friday looking like this
hopefully she sees 9 papers on the last day of classes & thinks "fuck this s***" and hands me 90s. moral of the story is read carefully and don't be an idiot like me
What f***in kind of an undergrad program has this requirement???
I havent been a part of any experiment and I finish my psych undergrad in like a semester
What class is this op?

psy101 & regarding your other post i really don't think it's worth talking to her about it. it's all on me seeing as i had the whole semester to just open the assignment requirements and look it over one more time

Wtfff for the 101 course? Tons of people in other majors have to take that too. Lmao I expected like 300 level research designs or something
Well, good luck dude it's gonna be rough but you can do it. Fingers crossed these studies are easy to grasp

spent this morning outlining studies that are at least somewhat interesting to me and i've worked out a schedule to get them done on time with other s*** that's also due so even if the papers are booty they'll be done. thank you for the good luck
f*** i used to procrastinate so much in school lol.
idk what to say dude, you need to figure out the most efficient way to knock out 9 papers. if any of them are similar or related, maybe you'll be able to knock those out quicker

i took intro to psych and had the same requirement except it was based on credits. i really enjoyed doing those and i think it’s to help grad students get “volunteers” for their studies. win win
Get some Aderall op
no adderall plug + why would i start in freshman year when it's still relatively easy? the stanley adderall arc isn't coming until like 2022 2023
none of these hypotheses in these published reports are using if then statements
i was lied to all of my life

O don’t do it if it isn’t necessary tbh, thought you meant you weren’t going to pass.
The procrastination does hit different once you realize you misread the requirements and have to put in 12+ hour days
Op I started my first semester in media writing haven’t done s*** since the beginning I believe in you!
