Aside from the messaging, I like the hook a lot. The melody is extremely infectious. Ain't nothing wrong with DVSN stepping out of his comfort zone of doing romantic songs. From the video, it looks like he had a lot fun doing it.

The production on some of those songs were phenomenal. thats probably the most memorable part of those songs aside from the nostalgia associated with it. Nonetheless, SOME have.

R&B songs about cheating have literally existed since the 60s. so this song ain't sacrilegious. Ever heard of "Me and Mrs Jones", "Creep", "Secret Lovers" just to name a few.
