    if you complained about it in 2016 or whenever migos were popping then that was stupid cuz they werent even mumbling

    like who? feel like this is pretty rare lol, and most of what would be considered "mumble rap" isnt still or is just accents being monotone/quieter

    I feel like more often it's about generational taste and how people define real rap, I mostly see it get thrown around by ppl who don't fw melodic rap or anything that feels more vibe/aesthetic driven

    I think it's mostly oldheads who miss the lyrical focus of the artists they grew up on, not surprisingly a lot of them are eminem fans lol
