  • I think his music aged greatly

Str8 off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin Compton is a true classic album and it sounds fresh and fun.

I can understand downgrading as a rapper perspective because of all that ghostwriting or s*** but His music is still great music and he made it possible

NWA is great and all but NWA members actually have incredible solid albums individually

this song is a real timeless True RAP classic

This song is such an eerie and funny song, eazy really had a great vision actually

one of the greatest disses oat imo, not enough in the conversation enough

Rappers CANT tell a story and absorb you to the concept like this

This man actually made such entertaining music

I really wished this man didnt leave our side

lmfaooooo Man I LOVE this man

I miss women hooks like this in hiphop tbh

Didnt really had a reason to make this thread but I love Eazy-E and he deserves more respect from HipHop fans as a legend

He got a top 5 voice in hip-hop. He can say anything and it just sounds so fly. Even at his worst, you can’t help but listen

I know he’s considered a GOAT but I def think he’s underrated because of the “ice cube wrote all his best s***”. And while that is true, you can have one of the best rappers OAT writing your s***, but if you don’t have the right voice or delivery, it still wouldn’t hit

My first favorite rapper ever. Growing up I loved E. I know people say he didn't write his raps and that he sucks as a rapper etc... but I disagree. One of the best voices in rap history and his flow was usually on point and smooth af. Aesthetics wise it's him, Cube or Pac imo as the face of what a rapper should be and look like.

Always wondered how s*** would've gone down if E was alive during the East vs West s***. Think he was one of the few who had major respect on both sides and could've cooled things down. Both Pac and BIG loved E.

Godfather of gangsta rap, godfather of horrocore.

His storytelling horror songs are so crazy man lol Neighborhood Sniper, Creep N Crawl, Nobody Move, Sorry Louie etc... the man inspired BIG so much and you can tell quite easily imo. (E called himself the devils son in law first )

RMG's is the best diss record ever imo. Its On is the most underrated. His raps on the 2nd NWA album underrated imo(and the album as a whole). Even as an adult--there was just something different with Eazy. One of the most charismatic artist the genre has ever had. RIP king

Both It's On 187um Killa and Str8 Off The Steetz are fun af from start to finish. Down To The Last Roach, Still A N*gga, Any Last Werdz, Gimme Dat Nut...Sippin On A 40, Old School S***, The MF'n Real, G Beat 4 Da St etc...

Even the 5150 EP included Neighborhood Sniper and Only If You Want It. Man was groovy af and the stories Bone Thugz and others tell about him to this day make him really seem like a black ghetto super hero lol
