Does his rapier go hard
this might be my weapon for ashes arts
Dude gave it to me at +8 it was an offer I couldnt refuse
Thinking of respecing to minimal dex/str stats to carry a certain weapon and then dumping everything into faith, y’all think it’s worth it? Maybe even might do a dex/faith build and use a Katana, just wasn’t sure how well Faith spells and buffs are in the game

Int spells seem way better tbh

I had fait before my issue was that the second area was magic focused so you got showered in dope spells. I am suspecting a later area will deliver on the faith stuff. Also noteworthy that pyromancy is entirely faith now too
Got some spells from late areas that allow me to fire space metorites & another one that is geomancy levitates rocks to shoot s***s crazy
Did i mention underground looks like the roof of a rolls royce
The elevators that bring u true underground, i just found a map piece bro. I thot this was a dungeon. UNDERGROUND IS PART OF THE OPEN WORLD, WE HAVE LAYERS TO ITS SIZE
i haven't sat down to really play a game in extended sessions for years and this has been the first game to really captivate me in that sense in recent history. big souls fan in general though. one thing i have to say is the world is absolutely absurdly large. there's almost too much content in this game

My favorite area looks wise it reminds me of that ds2 area Shrine of Amana. Only downside the gameplay also reminds me of that area

look at this madness
with this scaling proly every point I have in dex is wasted lmaooo shouldve gone 40 int
i went pure strength just because thats the Souls build im most comfortable with but i do wanna make a magic character eventually. i know dex is good for magic cause it speeds up your casts, so maybe dex/int melee or something
Int spells seem way better tbh
Yeah I agree but I’m curious about buffs, and I was gonna try Pyromancy but f*** Int spells look so cool

Bro i cant believe the literal world extends to it n now my over world map has layers, this s*** blew my mind
And theres legit harry potter ass skyrim portals too
Reading some item descriptions that mention an "above" past our surface level, with this, i wouldnt put it past them that there is also a sky or space layer of the open world like under ground

Only thing i hate about int is how all the catalysts are wands smh
But yeah i would love to explore pyro too, at least we can re spec in the game to try stuff out every now n then

as a long time souls player it took me awhile to realize in large parts of the underground youre just supposed to use the horse and run past literally everything. there's too many enemies and with how wide open it is (and the fact they allow the horse), you're clearly not supposed to be fighting everything like a souls player wuld think otherwise

Its literally just the open world as well, its wild

Im pretty sure this area is optional tho and suspect it got something to do with a sidestory so its probably balanced around being challanging for every stage of the game

S*** feels like a dlc add on

yeah the entire underground is optional which is insane tbh.
