What level were you guys when you killed margit. I feel like I do no damage to him and I'm level 22

i was like 20. it’s normal to not do a lot of dmg to bosses per hit. just gotta keep dodging and chipping at him. might also wanna use the summon and search for a better weapon if you’re still using a basic one

I bet people that have barely explored half of limgrave are the ones that say that, the game is connected. Its just bigger now lol.

Yeah I might have to just use a different weapon. Been using the rapier because of its moveset but it just doesnt do as much damage as my broadsword

Different enemy types are weaker to different weapon types as well.

For example, there is gem crystal people in the game, theyre only weak to strike damage (like a hammer, mace, club etc.) but super resistant to everything else.

For this fight i dont think its a huge difference but its something to remember. Rapier does pierce damage along with spears n halbred, which is great against armored enemies. Slice damage like a sword is amazing against beast types n unarmored, which i think Margit is considered unarmored.

Most weapons will do decent to good damage tho to almsot everything, but some enemies like the rock ppl will rarely have just one weakness, n of course you can also change damage types to maximize damage output in general.

I truly would not have beaten randahn if I wasn't running a faith build. Literally had to cheese that garbage ass boss to survive

60 hours in and just realized you can press triangle+R1/L1 to hold your staff with both hands and do more damage
