Easily the hardest boss so far, I only warped there because of the medal that white face guy gives u during his quest so not sure if there’s another route to reach it later on
Mohg was the hardest boss for me until I found Malenia
Theres so much options in this game lmfao its actually the most difficulty friendly out of all them imo. Just like how i figured out Guard Counter today too.
Lot of people ignore the crafting items too & theres some straight up broken s*** n in general just normal helpful s*** in there such as Exalted Meat n Cotton Steps.
Im not against criticism of Elden Ring, (even tho my only main issue so far is just little quality of life stuff here n there personally), but i hate this "discourse" that gets made up every time FS makes a game that is like Dark Souls but ISNT Dark souls.
Just like how most souls vets from way back find bb extremely hard because dogging is mandatory when it wasnt in ds1 n 2, but i think personally bb is actually one of the easier ones even tho it was my first.
Hate how people act like s*** is new or different from the old like the "reused" boss thing or the "obtuse-ness". It isnt new, and for people that claim to play a lot of the series like that reddit post claims, it comes off very suspect. If its your first one thats different, but you claiming to know the series when you complain about basic s*** in the series is SUS AF.
Yeah I dunno. This doesnt have to be everyones favorite but my god some of the criticism is just nonsense
I have some unfinished business with this man
hes catching these hands first thing tonight
Real 1 LETS GO
Yeah I dunno. This doesnt have to be everyones favorite but my god some of the criticism is just nonsense
FAXX
Quick reminder Sekiro had like over 10 reskinned bosses lol. Theres like 2 different bulls, 3 different fat drunkyards, 5 or so headless, 2 shamans, 2 guardian apes. You fough genichiro and owl 2 times? I dunno how many ogres. And the rest of the bosses was chasing monkeys and gimmick dragon.
FAXX
Bro what area are you in in the game? Because I PROMISE YOU you are going to think the late game is unbalanced as f*** once you get to “Consecrated Snowfield”, fight the enemies there, go fight the late game optional bosses and late game required bosses. Just because there’s tools that make the game easier does not mean this is FromSofts easiest game lol. It’s their easiest game all the way up to Rykard and Leyndell, after that it just gets ridiculous
Mohg was the hardest boss for me until I found Malenia
yeah those AOE attacks were f***ing garbage. im nowhere close to Malenia yet but basically everyone who has fought her has b****ed about it so I already know im in for a bad time
Like i said weeks ago itt, i 3tried orphan of kos in bb.
But i cant pull off a mekuri counter consistenly in sekiro to save my life.
Difficulty even within the community is different for everyone & all the games that arent literal Dark Souls introduce a mandatory new mechanic that the community ignores, hates, but then later gets accustomed too n praises.
Same as Bloodborne, same as Sekiro & same as Elden Ring.
He is one of the 2 optional endgame Demigods, the other one is Malenia which is arguably the hardest boss in the game
oh god so my dumbass was definitely not supposed to fight him when I did
i was wondering why tf he dropped like 500k souls and a remembrance on top of that

yeah seeing hate itt for like new mechanical systems that are talked about regularly in game is a lil ridiculous
To be fair bosses have NEVER been reskinned in any FromSoft game as much as they have here. I know it’s a huge game but still, no reason to reskin multiple bosses 4-5 times it’s just lazy
the idea that you'd call any part of this game lazy is pretty f***ing laughable dude
bro wtf I just 1st tried radahn on my ng+ dudes a joke when you have health and dmg
didnt even summon

After 97 hours this is lowkey how I’m feeling as well. Game is starting to just get f***ing annoying and I’m wanting to hurry up and be done with it. Makes me sad tbh because this was my most anticipated game of all time
bro it’s hard to take your post seriously when you linked a s***ty Reddit write up that spends most of its length complaining about mfs not wanting to hear such trite whining as “some bosses look the same, and also some are too hard”
dude is crying that the f***ing Ulcerated Tree Spirits and Erdtree Avatars are too difficult LMFAO like what in the f***?? also Morgott made Margit as a clone of himself so that’s why they look alike lmao. that Reddit post is just really uninformed and whiny
Skimmed thru it n a lot of it just sounds like usual fromsoft things lol.
Bosses turning into normal enemies.
Always been a thing in FS games towards later areas to show you theyre actually just a species n to show growth in you.
Capra demon, crystal witch of ds3, watchdog in bb dungeons etc.
reused bosses
Again, always been a thing to a degree. Asylum demons ds1, witches bb etc.
such a s***ty whiny wall of text lmaoooo

maybe just take this as a lesson that you shouldn't wrap your self worth in the media you consume bro. maybe then you'd be able to appreciate the sprawling epic 100 hour game you got , instead of seething over game you didnt
Disagree
Theres literally 3 Asylum Demon bosses in DS1, Capra n Taurus become regular enemies in DS1 as well.
Asylum gets reused as a reg enemy in DS3.
The crystal witches of DS3 become regs too.
The giants of DS2 are reused as bosses and reg enemies.
The hag witches of BB.
Etc.
Even the Monkey Great Apes of Sekiro are used like 4 times.
Theres still a huge variety, and if they are reused they 9 times out of ten have something very noticeably different about them. Wether its new phases, attacks, additions etc. Which is more than most of the old games. It goes way beyond a recolor or reskin.
Its a bull criticism imo, especially since there is so much variety anyways. More than any other open world game i ever played, and i dont know why people act like its different for elden ring. Even something like The Witcher 3 only has a lil above a dozen monsters total, or Dragons dogma, huge praised n "hardcore" games.
ER goes above n beyond them in terms of variety, n they still spice it up when the reused creature does pop up here n there, n most are optional.
ohhhh you cooked his ass with this one
