Tbf it gets so much faster also you keep your map and can just ignore all the caves and collectibles that you keep such as spirits and all the flask upgrades. The only thing you really gotta go and get are the smithing stone bells well atleast if you wanna upgrade a new weapon.

New Game+ is a vastly different experience than a new playthrough because you arent restricted at all. Really feels alot different ngl

If you have a low-vigour build, items that boost your stats but reduce defence are a straight upgrade since you'll always be one-shotted anyway
