@Water_Giver , oh btw, I have Nioh but haven’t played it. Is that “souls-esque” or should I not bother with it?
rn i’ve got a int/vig (was int/dex before i turned my scythe into a magic scythe, no need for high dex anymore) build with full crucible tree knight armor and a +20 magic scythe that i always two hand, also got +10 mimic tear for the harder bosses. keep Loretta’s Greatbow and Comet as my go to spells
INT gang
pretty much did the same, whether it was having a magic greatsword or mlgs towards the end of the game.
always loved the scythes in these games. really need to do a run of this with one since it's been a long time. very much miss the burial blade from bloodborne

It is souls-like but still its own completely different thing. Takes the formula n runs with it.
I love the nioh series, its the only good souls-like titles to me so far, besides the actual FS games of course.
Def play it when you got a chance. I think theyre even harder than FS games tho, but still really dope.
The stance n magic system in Nioh 1 n 2 is genius. Its not similar to Elden Ring tho, moreso Bloodborne n Sekiro together if you had to make a comparison.

One of my fav areas tbh
Thinking of playing DS:RE/DS2/DS3 before playing Elden Ring.
Remember playing Demons Souls but dropped that b**** cuz it was way too hard
Played ER a bit at my friends house. Man, if these what Souls games really like, I’m playing all them hoes.
I've only played most of Dark Souls 2 and most of Bloodborne so far, but I own DS Remastered, DS3, Sekiro and haven't touched them yet. I want to play all these games before ER because my fear is that they'll feel like a step backwards if I play ER first
I think I'm going to finish off BB, then play DS Remastered, then Sekiro, then DS3
