Every other attack basic af
I meant fun and design wise
i thought the transformation was cool af tho cuz he shows his relation to Nepheli Loux at that point! he’s a warrior like her before anything else
i also liked seeing him holding/pitying Morgott, that was dope
His movements n gameplay were top tier as well
S*** was almost bb n sekiro level
wait i also don’t really think Elden Beast was a god in the way we normally think of em, @redtruth was right when they called it a physical manifestation of the Elden Ring which became Marika/Radagon’s true form as well. if anything is a god figure in this game it would be the greater will and any other similar powers that be
What i gathered:
Elden Beast seems to be a manifestation of the order, n is what they consider a god while everyone else is demis by "leeching" off it. The ring is a "physical" form.
Radagon is for the Elden Beast while Marika is not, Marika is also confirmed to cause the shattering with the hammer.
It seems in Marikas "death" she also has some influence in the greater will, which is why the graces point in conflicting paths n why the finger lady at the hub warns u to stay to the "true" path.
The smith has a long relationship with Marika long time ago and has vowed to Marika that he will smith a weapon to kill a god (aka elden beast) n forever be at the hub until that time comes. Elden Beast as we know it in the fight comes "out" of Radagon not Marika.
This is why there are 3 normal ending, repair the order to what it was with cracks still, repair the order to its TRUE form with the help of the sun dude, n the other of just creating a new order which is what marika seems to have wanted. Then the other 4 are sidequest based, ranni, dung, fia n frenzy. Iirc.
Radagon was originally a sorcerer but with his obession of the Elden Beast he became part faith bro, Marika 5hinks its all bullshit. And there was a time before the tree n the order, which was the time that led to the war of the dragons to then the era of the order n erd, and now the shattering era until you decide the next.
once you get to near end game bosses there’s literally no point to blocking unless you’ve got a great shield lmfao
good
I've been just using katanas two handed the whole game
Both incredible areas. Have you done the complete ranni quest already?
No I've completed it and have access to 2 extra endings now
which one is easier to do in NG+

You can do them all in one playthrough
You pick your ending at the end
All the ending sidequests are lengthy

I also think Marika is a smith (although i dont think its flat out said) which is why she has a long connection to our hub smith n why her "weapon" of choice is a hammer. And how she is able to cause the shattering, dismantling the ring.

Just do ranni ending first and then Lord of Chaos in New Game+ which is giving that weird blind lady the eyeball grapes.
The Fia ending is a modification of the standard become Elden Lord ending. For 100% you dont even need it and can just finish the game normally
If they were to make an Elden Ring 2 do you guys think they should keep summons in the game?
I feel like the existence of them made them struggle with balancing and boss encounter designs.

Yeah cuz i use them & its part of what makes ER unique
Its a major idenity & core element of ER
Would make no sense to take it out and the 2nd half bosses are balanced around spirit usage since its a main mechanic
They should not be in "BB2" or "DS4" tho
Balancing is fine imo as long as you use the tools they think/assume youre gonna use

definitely
Turns out this c*** steals your runes when you die and he was also the one to lock you in the room with the big spear knight
i was right to kill his creepy ass

Sure. You can always just not use them.

If you kill him beforehand does the lock sequence still happen?

No. You also here him laughing when he does it
I like how that dude DOES want u to kill Goddrick but he also aint against looting you if you fail to do it he just tryna play to his outs in his situation

The thing is, I actually stopped using the summons for bosses during the 2nd half of the game (still used them in the open world) and I didn't struggle at all so I can't imagine how well the game would have went if I did use summons, actually the only time the summon got brought out for boss fights was during double boss fights and the last boss cause the boss running away was not fun and I just wanted the fight to be over with.
I don't think the game is balanced well ENOUGH around summons is what im really tryna say. The moment you bring them out it really trivialises some fights like Malenia.
That being said, I can't imagine not having them for double boss fights
If they were to make an Elden Ring 2 do you guys think they should keep summons in the game?

drop em 💯
Now that I think about it, I used summons as a "I don't think this fight is very good so I would like to skip this" button

I wanna do all the endings but I just wanna know which one out of ranni or fia ending is easier to replicate for ng+

How can you do them all in one playthrough?
When you beat the game are you allowed to go back?
