Not really, he’s talked down upon by like all the npcs you talk to in Limgrave and even on the deeper lore side of the game he’s basically known as powerhungry douchebag who thinks he’s the s*** they basically think he’s a p****, nobody hypes him up to be some crazy powerful demi god or anything, he’s literally just a loser who thinks he has power

Switched to a pure STR build with high vigor/defense with the Ruin’s greatsword and it’s f***ing unstoppable

Unfortunately 75% of the time you’re just doing jump attacks if you dual wield colossal weapons

It’s fun tho

I rarely used jump attacks but i also had a greatshield. Guard counters op.

You just cant be as aggressive with str builds in Elden like how u can be with dex since the movement is faster, gotta do the ol ds1 bop n weave (especially since roll isnt as op in eldem like how it is in ds3) mixed with shield guard counters n it overpowers some bosses like Melinas ass.

Im doing powerstamce great rapiers in my ng+ run tho and its GOAT its the perfect middle n mix of dex n str playstyles. Moving quickly but you also hit decently hard, unlike the downfall of dex u hit like a wet noodle or the downfall of str where u move like a rock.

The way in which the game's scale unfolds is just remarkable. 125 hours played now and still have masses to do.

I just had to get the right set up

yeah i dont really like powerstancing greatswords full time, just for a few fights. most of my playthrough was using the guts greatsword on its own.

also the lions claw art of war is really cool
