I was str faith from the jump in ER i was playing since launch day n i went with that since everyone else was on dex int nuts n there wasnt much info at the time for str faith stuff (this is my own recorded vid of my win against her):
!https://youtu.be/yn2qVGOD6y4But im now a dex arcane user in ng+ n its a lot of fun. Im powerstancing dual great rapiers with bloodhound step + bleed n some faith. No more shields or turtle movement.
This build looks nice
And damn I've been sleeping on shields, seems like you can block damn near any attack with that. I def wanna try a STR build on my 2nd playthrough, seems fun to rock a big weapon and go ham.
When she sends her clones out, just run away from her until 3 (or 4, can't remember) clones come out, and then roll twice towards her to dodge to 2 that thrust towards you, and then roll again to dodge her own thrust.
I actually enjoyed learning how to dodge that move unlike her flurry attack.
I can just run away? Thought I had to roll left and right, need try running when I play tomorrow. And good intel on the 2 that thrust toward me

Yeah you can just run and dodge all of the clones accept the last 2 that thrust. If you figure out their timing that move is easy peasy.

Problem is making it that far lmao
I appreciate tho, Im sure I'l get her soon enough

No s*** you thought every boss was easy, you used tiche + a greatshield
She's basically the easiest boss in the game if you do that because the only thing that makes her hard is her flurry attack and high damage. She becomes useless when you got a shield to tank it and a summon to stagger her.
He was a cool ass boss for about 15 seconds until you realize 90% of the fight hes gonna do the exact same stomp over and over again.
Then the second phase is just you sprinting away trying to dodge through his 5 different grab attacks that almost one-shot you, until he does the one or 2 attacks that you have a 2 second window to hit him in.
Very cool lore wise, pretty dumb fight imo.
Thats not how it was for me at all lol.
He did his earthquakes & wrestling combos in his 2nd phase along with the grabbing. He only starts spamming grab from what i noticed is if youre on his outside a lot. I roll inwards most the time n fought him upfront. He doesnt have any range attacks tho so it makes sense his ai would default to dash rushing if youre backing up constantly.
His attacks didnt one shot or near me either, but i had vigor at 50 by that time along with the phys reduce tailsmans. Only attack that near kill me would be his really strong grab attack where he like punches u in the air or whatever then slams you back down.
The fight is amazing. Top 10 of series, no fluff no bullshit just pure strength & battling. Both phases are amazing & its the only fight along with Melekith n Dragonlord i felt was a genuine challenge n "classic souls" feeling.

Greatshields are really dope in ER especially with addition of guard counters, it boosted the utility of GShields by a lot. GShields also last longer in guard mode before guard breaking and are able to block more attack types than reg n small shields. S*** is GOAT n carried me a lot of the harder bosses such as Radahn, Melina, the final boss n Fire Giant.
Only downside is that if ur not using a rapier or spear type weapon, you have to get put down the shield to attack which that second or so of animation can mess u up, so u gotta be more mindful of ur pacing n placement.
GyATdaYM now your hammer is on another level
That one is massive. My Colossal Sword is the Grafted Blade Greatsword+5 and it's big but that hammer looks way bigger. These big and slow weapons are really good against the big and slow enemies. It was a breeze slaying dragons with my Colossal Sword, but it may not be as effective if I'm up against a fast enemy with long reach since I'd be too slow to get away.
I think its the biggest or at least 2nd biggest weapon in terms of pure size so far it literally blocks half my screen when im idle or walking around
But FAXX. In these games i usually like having three to four weapons on me that i use. One for main against reg enemies, one for main against bosses, n then one or two that are specific situations like how i would use that big ass hammer big ass enemies like dragons n giants, n would use my halbred when i needed to be more conservative n guarded like against tree sentienials
The flexibility is GIAT in the game n if u explore a lot then u can natually have like 8 weapons max power by the end of the gamewithout any extra grinding or buying its crazy.

I see, seems like a fun way to play tbh. Getting really close to bosses without being to afraid of taking damage. Def going to try it in the future

To me his second phase was just me running trying to figure out wtf he was doing with these unnatural and floaty ass animations, lose 90% of my health to a random grab attack, and then repeating until he does his jump or stomp attack where I can get a few hits in.
Glad you enjoyed it tho. I didn't like any of the endgame bosses except radagon tbh.

I didnt use Tiche for every boss i used Ancestral Spirit mostly, i used for Melina because of her bullshit healing dont get mad i use tools the game provides
And no i staggered her, because of my beast build lol. Tiche barely did any damage that phased her stagger wise because most she would do just distract her n negate herself healing lol.
U also dont get acess to Tiche till endgame, so explain how i also beat Radahn my 3rd try pre nerf or defeated the dup Tree Sentinels 2nd try with just the basic wolf summon
N no s***, dex is whack af lmao str goat s/o str faith fam dex int overrated

It depends for some bosses cuz the giagantic enemies like Dragonlord n Fire Giant i can def see being easier as a range user.
The boss i had most trouble with was Commander Niall at Castle Sol that s*** was ridiculous with all his AOE n two hugh tier summons that s*** literally was making me mad
But yeah def try things out when you get a chance or get bored!

I'm not mad you're using summons but dont say "idk why people were saying she's hard" when 90% of those complaints come from people who are trying to 1v1 the bosses and want to have a proper fight without having something else take aggro for half the fight.
I have nothing against summons (I used one on the gargoyles because f*** em) but imo you shouldn't have a say on boss difficulty if you're using them and talking about beating every boss in less than 3 tries

The delayed attacks that ER does is fun imo n makes the enemies come off more intelligent, but i get it if others dont like that especially compared to previous games.
But yeah i loved the chaos of it, it was the hardest boss for me n the one i died to most tho as well so j can understand some the frustration. Just that i thot the fight in itself was fun & dynamic.
Wish the lion tiger thing was more involved tho. F***ED UP what happens s*** was crazy
have an abundance of somber smithing stones but tell me why I can't find any somber smithing stones 3
wtf fam smh
You can buy 3 of them from the blacksmith in liurnia
He has infinite level 1 and 2 stones, 3 level 3 stones, and 3 level 4 stones

That lion didn't deserve that s***
Ugh is there any good helmets that match Maliketh’s armor?
Love his armor but I hate the flowy hair s*** on his helmet and almost all other helmets are silver and don’t match

The Twinned helmet? It’s not as bad as the others but doesn’t match that well
There’s like no black helmet besides Lionel’s
