Played through DS1, DS2, and Bloodborne multiple times. Also beat Demon's souls and sekiro once through.
Never finished DS2 tho. The difficulty never felt fair, hated the healing system, and the bosses were horrible. Don't even feel like I missed out either.
Most of yall gonna hate me for this take but
If you summon npc or player or get help from a friend you p****

F*** DS2 (and Sekiro too)
hey obviously experiences differ but Bloodborne is the one I wouldnt really recommend to a first time cause of Father Gascoigne and Amelia so early
Papa Gasc is easy af if you play like a puss

I really hope that this game isn’t as or more difficult than Sekiro
think the difference is people had to break their souls habits for sekiro. you can't really fight the enemies the same way. dodging is not the game but people have/had to adjust

this a cool a***ysis. the higher fantasy elements with "souls/sekiro combat" seems pretty spot on which is probably some of Martin's input. FromSoft always does a good job of making each of their titles stand out and differ from their previous games, so it looks like they're trending towards a more magical/fantasy heavy aspect here...can't wait
need this game so much now man
the atmosphere is just so thick the sound in the trailer. All the things I love man. Wow I am so stunned every second i look at it.
this game looks so heroic almost weirdly uplifting especially for a from soft title. Sure here and there an enemy looks obviously sinister as usual but the whole vibe is so angelic.
Still I fully expect From Soft to turn a complete 180 here and suprise me even more

yea definitely seems like a more fantastical vibe, not quite as dreary and desolate as their other games

Look at the sky, it burns…
That would honestly explain the red sky in the first trailer though

The gameplay preview really didn’t excite me.
What’s the reason for the souls series going open world?
What will it add to the gameplay?
