Top 5 games ever

Since the games only loosely are connected I always recommend players to move more backwards. You will find more of what youre familiar with by Elden ring in the later parts. The earlier games get more simpler and barebone and less intuitive but especially Dark Souls 1 is a masterpiece imo.

I would put the game in these categories of how approachable and modern they are:

Elden ring

Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, Bloodborne

Dark Souls 1, Demon Souls

Dark Souls 2

I played Bloodborne after ER for the 1st time and loved it.
Very different experience from Elden Ring, but still very FromSoft.
Amazing world, setting and atmosphere, as well.

Ouf. If I had a PlayStation I would probably choose to try Bloodborne next. The theme/setting looks very interesting.

Lies of P isn't Fromsoft but the atmosphere is pretty close to BB if you ever want that type of experience

But yeah I'd say DS3 for sure after Elden Ring

Why does this game over level you to s*** if you do literally any exploration

Kind of ruins all the major moments except for the very end of the game

Dark souls 1 and bloodborne are 10/10 so go with one of those

Then try demon souls afterwards once you’re more hardened because that game is pretty tough on things like dying (you get punished a lot for dying)

Ds2 and ds3 are my least favorite, but still quite fun
