    Honestly can't imagine them turning the bosses up another notch. It's leaning into not fun territory atp.

    Imo, they should do a gimmick game like bb or sekiro. I think this would play out much better.

    God I hope so give me the same sense of exploration and discovery as Elden Ring but in a slightly different combat system like Bb or sekiro

    Messmer fight took me under 10 tries (with mimic) compared to the 30+ tries on the first two bosses?

    Seems like the fire knights before him freed me from my panic rolling.

    The more I think about the story of the DLC the more I love it. I think it all boils down to Miquellas own spell. We want to believe in the good ending which is what makes the charm which is meant to be the very foundation of the Age of Compassion so effective. I think we need to think of the charm as even less of a „spell“ and more abstract because Miquella has absolutely no intentions to cause harm.

    When fighting the last boss his grab attack from software is like so many times before once again breaking the barrier between us as player and ingame character. we can stop playing not ending the game and believe in the Age of Compassion. But fuled by our desire to become Lord ourself and also by all the clues like St. trina and all the lore about Messmer and Marika we know we have to free Miquella of godhood.

    yeah I think he is the incarnation of „kindness“. So in the case of Mohg he wanted to become a lord so Miquella offered him that role. It just happens that Mohg is a terrible Lord and so we kill him. Kindness is his weapon and absolute kindness can lead to terrible things.

    Ayyyye I just beat Bayle. As much as it would've been nice to involve Igor in the fight just to hear what his dialogue would be like, I just had to deal with Bayle on my own because I have not used any summons or Mimics so far and I'm trying to keep it that way. I'm sad now though because I think I've beaten most of the big bad bosses already.

    No, man. You don’t want to ride a ghost horse between levels. These games used to feel more like « real » open spaces without the open world elements, in my opinion. Finding a door somewhere leading to something else…It’s enough.
