I have solar on a 4 bedroom home, around 2500 sq ft. Electric water heating and air conditioning. Gas furnace for heating and gas stove.
My electric bill is about $27 per month which is basically just the service fee. All my energy needs are covered by solar. My gas bill is usually under $10 in the summers since it’s just the gas stove. In colder months when I use heating it’s about $35-50 if I had to guess.
My gas is cheap as f*** but there are “$45” service charge every bill so my gas bill is like $55 and it pisses me the f*** off

Yea the service charge s*** is annoying. If it wasn’t there I’d just have no electricity bill. I actually don’t have it for gas tho, just electricity
It’s mad that I’m paying a service fee for electricity when I don’t even use their electricity. Scammers IMO
OP lmk or pm me what state you're in, see if I can help you
lmk about Georgia, summer cooking the bills

Hit my inbox if you can, or drop your email / IG handle. I work in solar sales. I can run a free design and savings quote on your house to see how much we can cut that summer electric bill down. Got a licensed GA team ready to fulfill it

Do you have yours to back feed into the grid to get credit?

Ive always been told solar ain't worth it for residential unless your electric bill is $300+ on average.

Yea its a 10 year investment roughly
Do you have yours to back feed into the grid to get credit?
Yea that’s how it’s pays for all my electricity usage. The amount I send back to the grid exceeds how much I use by a lot
If I bought solar batteries I think I’d be off the grid entirely though which is something I want to do eventually

Update; I had to double check with my solar guy. I usually cover NJ, DE, PA, figured I ask for outside states out of my coverage
Def still look into it, cut those costs. If you know anyone in the states I cover, happy to help them genuinely
These energy companies tend to raise the price 2-3 times a year

Update; Just replied to OP as well: I had to double check with my solar guy. I usually cover NJ, DE, PA. GA isn't in my coverage at this time, my bad
