  • The new trilogy is just pop music done right. If you're not a fan of pop music then obviously it's not for you and that's okay.

    But I really don't get how you can be a fan of pop music and not think something like Dawn FM is masterful.

    OG, no debate. I like the grittiness and lo-fi feel of the OG mix/master.

    But "Valerie" the bonus song on Thursday is one of them ones.

    new trilogy started off strong but it felt too /soulless by the end

    shouldn’t have even called that s*** a trilogy just make the music

  • OG all the way, the new one is great as well though, but there's something magical about sampling indie/alternative records that he's never managed to recapture in his career.

    Yeah because they haven’t been packaged together in a compilation album release called Trilogy

    I think another big part is that the original Trilogy was released in a short span of time. All in the same exact year. Plus they all have a similar aesthetic in terms of album covers and the aesthetic of each project
