Discovered with blood orange ep
Sensational is truly wonderful
Like summer in fall
Insult me got me in my feelings
We need another album soon
De Casier has lent her increasingly distinctive sound—unfussy, unhurried, Y2K pop and UK garage-indebted R&B—to a genre that has traditionally leaned on maximalist pop hooks. De Casier honed that sound over two albums of sexy, skittish, bedroom jams for introverts. And as she prepares to release her just-finished third album (“coming soon,” she says), she seems poised for a breakout moment of her own.

She deserves more recognition
New album title is 'Still'.
last two albums came in May, let's see if she keeps that trend
@op where should I start with her music?
Chronologically is always best.
Her debut "Essentials" had such a lasting impression on me when I heard it, biggest reason I'm OP on here. Like 90s/00s r&b plucked straight from that era without being derivative etc.
"Do My Thing", "Intimate", "Little Bit", "Good Time" are all highlights but the entire thing is very good. Strong debut.
Off of her next one Sensations I love "Friendly", "Secretly", "Make my Day", "No Butterflies, No Nothing". In line with her previous r&b sounds.
Has a bunch of remix for stuff on these two albums. These are my favs:
