It somehow managed to blow everything she'd previously done out of the water.

I still have no idea how she did so, with a self-produced album to boot.

I always expect nothing but a quality project from her, but it astounded me.

you're so right, it honestly blew me away like I truly love this album. love when an artist really levels up like this. and a lot of times with albums like this where the artist does everything themselves there's a handful of tracks that feel more realized than the rest but no, this is front to back EXCELLENCE. such an amazing marriage of her influences and her own personal sound & songwriting. and becoming such a comfort album for me too especially with these chilly rainy spells we've been getting in jersey. just wish she was doing more shows 😭😭 I wanna hear these live so bad

But perhaps she doesn't use any flashing lights? In that case, I technically could buy the tickets to see her, provided she decides to come to Europe this time around, lol.

Also, I feel you even though there have been nothing but sunny days here as of late.

are you epileptic? because I'm so curious to know how that is for you seeing shows live because I ALWAYS think about that at shows that have flashing lights which is like 9/10 of them and they're usually so rapid and harsh. I never see any type of disclaimer on show announcements, ticket sites, etc like how they'll have at the beginning of music videos or similar things and wonder how you're supposed to even navigate that

that's such a shame omg. it makes though because it is the easiest gimmicky thing to use to feel like the show is more exciting than it is like sometimes it makes me laugh cus it doesn't even match the music. i'm so sorry 😭
