Bowie on Mechanical Animals would’ve been crazy
I been saying he probably was the last real “rock star” if we’re talking the whole persona and actually outraging people. Beautiful thing to watch in retrospect

Unironically it's Ye whether we want to admit it or not. He is the modern archetype of letting the fame consume him whole and embracing the ridiculousness and pissing people off. He went too deep though
didn't like that one Big Thief album I listened to back then (UFOF) but this track instantly caught me.
The big thief album from a couple years ago is solid

F*** the Columbine reactionaries though. Ruined his concept for Holy Wood.
New Waxahatchee is rad. She expanded upon all of my favorite elements from Saint Cloud

*amazing
(is what you meant to write I think)
He's one of Trent's biggest influences, one of the few people they played with on stage, and just general... obviousness. I dunno. Trent is a huge Bowie stan and his influence is blatant in NIN's music.

My Trent's your Bowie
One of the few dudes I'd bother in public and give a hug to

Yeah I totally had a chance to do that with Neil Young but decided to play it cool :datass: he did take note of how flustered I was to be having lunch beside him though

Their last one is probably one of my favorite albums of the decade so far. It kinda feels like an extension of Fleetwood Mac’s classic period.

That's cool that you got to sit next to him. Any time I see a celebrity I look up to in person I never approach them. Feels like it would get so tiring for them after a while. Even worse would be asking for a selfie.

You should check out that Daughters of Albion record from 1968 I’m trying to get Elric to listen to.
