these Springsteen tickets are insane man f*** the boss
Yeah I’ve been priced out of seeing pretty much every major artist now.

Same
at least I don't have any regrets for seeing way too many concerts when they were affordable
Already seen Bruce twice and it's hilarious to think Id have to pay twice as much to see him when he's 15 years older and missing several crucial members of his band

yeah it seems like for a lot of acts (mostly the ones where key demographic is age 50+ white people) the only way to not take a massive L is get in early on the presale thing as possible. which even then is a lot of luck
im seeing him tomorrow, got the tickets so long ago and it was still expensive just not absurd

Nice man have a good time. He's definitely in the top handful of live acts I've seen it's just too bad he's to decidedly not doing it for the working man anymore

Hard to enjoy the show when it feels like robbery

i mean its not like hes personally the one driving the resale prices up. my problem is more with the whole fiasco of initially buying it, where the prices are too high but also you have to deal with ticketmasters garbage website and hope you get lucky clicking as fast as you can while the site lags
yeah it would be cool if every artist did that thing where they dont allow any resale increases or whatever and scalping was outlawed but i wouldnt really expect them all to turn down boomers willing to spend hundreds of dollars to see their old fav for possibly the last time
Pearl Jam was probably my worst ticket buying experience recently, those were actually a bit more expensive than Bruce

That’s what I’m saying. The Stones look like corpses, but people are paying $500 for nosebleed seats to see them

It’s weird that going to a senior rock concert is almost like a status thing now. Like you paid $600 bucks to see Aerosmith

at least the legacy acts are actually performing. the celebrity worship is so bad that people will fork out just as much to see Drake rap along to his own cd and make the crowd sing the other half
or Kanye do even less apparently

Yeah I don’t get it. Like Rise said, I’d much rather spend $30 to see an indie band at a small venue these days
Rather pay $30 to see a cool indie band at a bar

This had to have been an influence for the Orphanage in Cathedral Ward
