Cool I got no problem checking out new s***
I think the chances of me finding a 2 hour 60s album before you is 0%
I've gone from 1955 to 1972 in almost 4 years
I think that's pretty good
So if you got into a new band from lets say 2012, and they had 3 albums since then, would just listen to the 2012 album for years before moving onto the next one?
That's exciting
Was thinking you would like this when I heard it earlier
It borders on obnoxious, but yeah I dig it well enough.

Only if I completely forgot about it because it's boring
When I'm going through legendary discographies I'll usually marinate for 4-6 months, either to let it sink in or so I don't ruin the enjoyment by binging all their albums too fast. I like to let a great album be background music for whatever phase of life or season I'm going through. Random good bands get less meticulous respect, don't mind ripping through their albums.

I found a few great ones recently he never had heard.

Does it rhyme with Booty fill

I thought it sounded pretty 90s alt rock for early 70s Germans

Yeah it definitely doesn’t sound very early 70’s. There’s something 90’s about it for sure.

I was all over that Comus album and listened to it before you even did gimme a break

Our listening philosophies generally align we just go about it a different way. I like to gulp it all down first then slowly process it all over time. But I can obsesses over a new band for months/years and not get bored.

No. It was the self titled record by Daughters of Albion and the album Studio by The Tages.

I wasn’t criticizing. I was just saying I’m surprised I’ve been discovering some gems from that era before you.
I'll get into an artist and maybe a couple of their albums and 70% of the time won't finish their discography

I like to have albums to look forward to so binging it all would kill that
Like, tbh I've only heard like 7 Dylan albums. Why would I willingly listen to stuff people s*** on when i could just throw on highway 61 or Blonde on blonde

Yeah it's a seemingly endless well. Nobody can know it all.

I binge then examine/binge/examine if that makes sense

If you really love an artist then finding a new gem the literal greatest thing
nobody has more afaict

it's a bad habit I'll probably never shake

Fair. Better than most cretins.

Dylan's a weird case tho cause he has like 50 albums and was from a singer songwriter old school era where they just vomited s*** out constantly
