Very timely choice

I watched one film on the new blu-ray that I bought for/with my parents lol and I think that's literally it. Also pretty sure it was a bootleg since the film we were gonna watch can only be played on UK Blu-Ray players so I had to buy a ripped version that might have just been a DVD.

never owned one, they never owned one. Genuinely can't recall ever seeing something on Blu-Ray except for when you go to the Best-Buy and they have Blu-Ray TVs playing things everywhere lol

But will 100% be buying one for this 4k remaster

I actually have a bunch of Blu-Ray films but never got around to buying a player, probably since I haven't owned a TV in years.

Man renting "5 movies for 5 days for 5 dollars" used to be such a regular family routine for us that never having a player sounds crazy. I'm talking probably a decade before your time though and we lived nearly off the grid with no cable and definitely no Internet on the farm so renting: was crucial.

It wasn't till my mid 20s when I got glasses (and a giant TV) that I actually noticed the difference between DVD and Blu-ray my first Criterion was the Kurosawa DVD box set which was amazing but I'll never forget finally observing the deep dark blacks and textured film grain of a properly restored HD B&W film from the 50s between Seventh Seal, Night Of The Hunter and M I knew I had just tapped into a whole new level. Absolutely copping that Werkmeister for the same reason.

Listening to Sign O The Times and it's really good so far but why are some of these songs mixed so low
