Early gaga wasn't afraid of being a lil cheesy
She reveled in it. Meat dress? Pretending to be a man for 10 minutes on the VMAs then doing You and I with Brian May?
I suppose we've seen different sides of these fanbases on Twitter but I won't call either side right or wrong. I'm not one to assume Charli is forcing anything or not and for all I know Chloe and her have always been good friends
i just enjoy the music, sometimes I think you think too much about the intent of the artist and in this case i don't think it matters, like rise said, she's always been a huge staple in the gay community.
i also get the feeling that a lot of charli's inner circle are lgbt for sure
hes just way more into the gay community than i am so theres just a lot of things he picked up from a lot of Madonnas stuff that I didnt. cant really overstate it, like literally everthing about her is something gay men would like. fashion, personality, music, videos, performances. he would just point things out to me and they all actually made sense
the straightest moments of Madonna that I can think of are like...maybe the ray of light songs wheres shes singing about being a mother? but even that album is gay af too in its way lol.
Madonna came to nyc at the peak of disco. I can’t imagine a gayer time and place in history.
Any medium who's most popular content is called cumtown :keefnah:
the Burnt Weeny Sandwich of podcasts
I know Billie's a good singer and s*** but I dunno her music does nothing for me
Music to take sleeping pills to
I just rewatched that skit today
Making him spell out the different spelling too just to dig the guy in an even bigger hole

This might be my fav one. All bangers, no holding back.

Damn it ain't available in Canada
I have no desire to listen to her albums in full, but everything I’vs heard from Billie has been miles better than Katy Perry’s stuff. Generally though, I just think modern pop music is very bad.
Billie new album actually really surprised me, prob my 3rd favorite of the year so far. i can still see some charm on her earlier stuff even if i still dont like that much but I think what shes putting out now is really well made and she expresses her perspective really well
Thumbnail reminds me of that Daft Punk movie
What about this one?

its cool how she was really around for that whole scene
dating Basquiat, being the first white woman to perform in Larry Levan's garage, being good friends with Keith Haring, etc.
real artist in the company of real artists

Blackout the female Thriller tbh
I’m glad it’s finally gotten the respect it deserves over the last few years. Probably the best pop album of that decade.

She dated Basquiat? I think Madonna f***ed like 90% of famous people from the 80s and 90s

yeah they dated right before she was famous. i think she dumped him cuz of his d*** habit + her career really taking off
there was an anecdote she told once about waking up and the middle of the night and hes just in the apartment making some famous masterpiece painting or something, idk which one

My mom loved Britney. I thought she was cool but she wasn’t someone I ran to like Fergie or Nelly Furtado (I was young). I remember the day Blackout was released because she bought the CD and played it immediately. I will never forget the run of first 5 tracks
Had me like
