wonder how it is. Still like Vultures 1 even though a third of it could have been cut.
vultures 2 probably gonna be ridiculously overhated once again.
I fear the hate will be warranted this time around...

sad thing to hear
Slide another good opener tho
edit: ok sequencing makes no sense thus far. gonna listen later.
i never heard of this show haha. IFC and Sundance used to be 2 of my fav channels way back in the day
I love when film/shows use those fast cuts, always makes everything funnier haha
2010s IFC was great
Oh damn Vultures 2 dropped wtf
He always drops when I'm out of town and can't listen right away

Save your ears the torture
Kinda crazy to me. It’s good, but feels more like a solo project. A lot of the tracks are just these airy reverb heavy pieces that lack a lot of the bands identity and aren’t nearly as emotionally cathartic enough to make up for that. So much of it feels like building up with little release.
My favorites are Nonsuch and Drums & Wires.
My dad who was a massive fan at the time thinks they fell off when they went psych on skylarking

That’s a crazy take. Those influences were always in their work. They exhausted the jittery new wave sound by that point. It was a necessary change.
July. looks like I've been listening to brat more often than I thought.

I like everything about it on paper and the overall sound of it is excellent, but most of the actual songs just don’t hit me the way they should.
