Every time I hear Chopin's Funeral March, I just hear the Star Wars OST. But the trio part of the movement in D major (middle section) is so damn beautiful could listen to it all day

Another classical "inspiration" for Star Wars, not that you asked

Yeah Lucas always called Star Wars "Space Opera" not sci fi. The connections make sense.

  • Had a dream I went to a new record store and Jim Morrison was there to autograph and advertise the new Doors album

Then the record store transformed into a supermarket

    Koala

    quite the conversation piece

I forgot to respond but in the late 1800s the Prince of Bulgaria bought this painting called 'Lucifer' by Franz von Stuck and his goverment ministers were so terrified of the painting they had to do cross themselves every time they walked by it

It reminds me a bit of the story of Goya's Black paintings. And they certainly share some similarities but he definitely lacks the creative and technical skill of Goya (if you look at the majority of his work.) Still an interesting artist and the clash between Apollonian and Dionysian themes in his work is pretty great. Another painting of his I like:
    The Sin

I have hundreds of pages of this stuff from years ago but I have no desire at all to draw these days. Kinda sad. Need to buy some paint supplies and s*** and go full Bob Ross.

You could cook up a great horror comic

lmao that it is so incredibly degrading I'm trying to think why anyone would ever walk into a store with that title. I get that it's cultural but it's like they're intentionally sabotaging themselves from any potential customers.

I also guarantee that relative to the U.S. these stores actually have pretty normal sized clothing. not trying to fat shame but the average waist size of woman in the U.S. is 39 inches

I have heard stories of slightly above average weight girls travelling to Korea and random old woman walking up to them on the street saying "you need to lose weight"

I'm not into fatshaming or making people feel s***ty about themselves but I also think fat glorification/"positivity" or whatever is totally f***ing stupid. You're literally unhealthy and killing yourself. You don't see "alcoholic positivity" do you?
