at first Parliament was a little heavier on the horn section and Funkadelic was more psychedelic rock focused but after a few years there was no difference. same band.

2 total masterpieces (+maybe a few nice nonalbum songs) is enough for a placement for me maybe towards the bottom of the 10

a lot of the artists im choosing to place on one side or another im just doing it based on the 3 or so classics that fall in that decade like Springsteen or Radiohead etc

stones definitey a top 5 band oat for me but since I can only vote for them once, i went with 70s where they might not even make the top 5 of that decade
