Pretty much everything Bergman did after 1963 could be called depression classic but in the 50s he was relatively frisky

Yeah i had already seen most of his movies by the time I got the box set but I'm looking forward to really diving into the chilly Scandinavian depths again when my Best Films thread gets to Ingmars era
