It's more of a passion project that I've been researching the last 7 years and then writing the last 3.
I have no intention of actually publishing it currently. Writing it more for myself. I'm thinking I'll order around 100 hardcover copies and send them out to family and friends that are interested.Anyone in this thread is welcome to have a copy but I also can send it via PDF.

Also (really) need some advice by members of fam. I'm almost finished with that book I said I was writing a while back. Curious what your thoughts are on which cover you think work better for Hardcover. Any advice is sincerely appreciated as I'm having trouble choosing.
Or if you think they're both trash that's cool too...

The top one fits the tone/content of the book more. But even the white one actually looks a lot better in person than as a digital image.
I have a bunch of other variations but the previous two are the best so far (at least in my opinion)

i really like the (third) one but it's a bit tought to read. The fourth looks a tad too generic. All in all, I'd say version 1 seems the best.

Thanks! Yeah, I agree the third looks good but it's hard to read. I would just need to make the color part larger by zooming in the whole background so that the text doesn't bleed into the white borders.
But even then, I don't think that cover fits the themes of the book. So right now, it's looking like #1 is probably the best choice.

Have you ever used Canva? I stayed up last night playing around with graphic design for some films/filmmakers. For less graphic heavy things it's seems like a pretty good alternative to Photoshop/Illustrator, and in some cases much faster.
