Thank you for bringing them to my attention. I’ve been listening to them non stop since. I think their 2nd album might be my favorite. It’s maybe the best representation of all those influences you mentioned coalescing. There’s songs on there that are like the best things Ray Davies never wrote.

The lyrics are so wonderful on the record. The general theme of life going on and taking it as it comes and appreciating the beauty of the experience. Its simple special. And lyrics are the last thing to show to me with records....its got me back listening to the george penned beatles songs. He was a beautiful soul and he had a philosophy and it comes across.
