Overall I'm definitely a John guy. One of the best, most textured rock and roll voices ever. Funniest lyrics, most structurally interesting songs, most devastating melodic instincts. Love that guy.

I dont really get the Lennon > Liam connection. Like at all. Liam is a million times cooler imo

I think it largely boils down to this song and how Liam pinched John's pronunciation of "sun sheeeeine" lol. John definitely cool and was a funny f***er (I know Liam has funny tweets but he ain't as witty as Lennon).

Yeah again I can't really compare bands that were multiple generations removed from each other. Oasis was doing battle with Pulp, Verve and Suede and it was a glorious era, really hard to declare any of them the clear best.

And i know you're a 90s rock guy at heart. Im definitely 50s-80s guy. Mainly 60s though.
