i appreciate anyone who has high curiosity, especially in the arts

it's overwhelming trying to absorb so much information

it was definitely tougher back in the old days when books were the only resource really. these days every f***in teenager with Letterboxd/RYM knows all the s*** that was basically secret forbidden knowledge 20 years ago lol.

my dad bought me a keyboard when i was 8 years old and i wish i had invested my time playing music instead of being a math nerd

i took 3 years of music theory and choir classes in middle school but then i started listening to a lot of music in high school and gave up studying math

if it wasn't for music i probably would've had a bachelor's degree in mathematics or accounting

    i hate math now lol

I'm sure your math knowledge is more useful in this economy

Also there are definitely a few people here that have more music knowledge than me, and a few that have more film knowledge. I straddle the middle ground pretty good but there are others that do it just as well. They're just not as systematic with it.

the online teens still got plenty of gaps and context missing and sometimes its really clear when they only do the surface-level dives

i took a math course in college and my professor said "you can get any job with a math degree"

i was majoring in accounting, computer science, and philosophy the 3 times i attended college but dropped out every time

i don't have the ambition for college or a job

i'm lucky i live in new york city with benefits because i have bipolar disorder and i don't pay much rent in an area that is peaceful

i take my meds so i'm mentally stable and i always have money

if i have enough money for food and paying the bills, then i don't need a job

i only buy what's necessary so i don't buy expensive things or luxury

    Dude’s athleticism was insane :datass:

His footwork and tough shotmaking was my fav part of his game. He didn't have Mj or LeBron bionic athleticism but that tough shotmaking (while sometimes inefficient and overly shot reliant) was super durable during the postseason when the game slowed down.

But yeah young Frobe at his athletic peak when he could wreak havoc on defense with Shaq in his prime was the greatest duo

    not a jazz enjoyer?

said he's open to everything and likes to listen to many different things

    for context, he's pushing 40

that's like one of the most popular jazz albums ever.
