Yeah no sport watching definitely helps but continues to make me the odd man out alot of the time and my new longshoring job
everybody just wants to talk about sports and it's mind boggling to me
idk how to explain it, I guess I like watching sweaty men dive for balls and shoot stuff at nets
My sports watching is just skateboarding clips on instagram
Even when I was training marital arts like a madman I didn't watch UFC or anything and would consistently get
When people would try and talk to me about the last fight or whatever

Guess it's cause I grew up on a household that just watched movies and never sports. Never learned how to watch sports cause I've literally never watched even half a football/soccer/basketball/baseball whatever game and fortunately don't have a bit of fomo.

Okay fighting i don't understand the appeal to watching. Bunch of dudes trying to give each other concussions and brain damage
i know NFL/NHL players are prone to extreme head injuries but it comes unfortunately naturally with the flow of the sport and both leagues both are constantly trying to change rules to avoid those kind of injuries
Combat sports is just stupid to me and the athletes alot of the time seen like they genuinely have brain damage when their career is over... but they make a s***load of money.. what do i know
I do like to watch Olympic gymnastics
Olympics just cool in general. Especially stiff that isn't regularly aired year long.

Seems like a big commitment to keep up with that stuff yeah

Genuinely do not enjoy seeing somebody get the s*** beat out of them. Just feel bad for them.
Also I can't stand a bunch of drunk idiots at the pub doing that armchair athlete s*** screaming instructions at the tv screen

It blows my mind. Also its got alot more art to it than most other sports (depending on the particular type of gymnastics). There's genuine expression.

Yeah gymnastics are extremely impressive.

Even boxing ? Definitely more to it than senseless haymakers

I was more referring to ufc. Boxing is more graceful and better managed regarding head injuries

Duk Koo Kim really is the essence of boxing in a song. Masterfully done Koz
I’ve always liked the opening track and Splash 1. I’ll give it a shot again soon. Speaking of 60’s Psych, I discovered this band recently. This caught my eye.

i go through a phase from like December-March every year and usually watch 50-60 in that timeframe. I also like to have a gaming phase at least once a year that takes away from films since I can't concentrate on balancing both, on top of always listening to music.
And it's probably exclusive to me, but list season during the last month of collecting + 3 weeks of counting, making the pictures (including sporidacally workin gon the layout from time to time) also takes time away from multitasking stuff.
isk how some people watch 100s of films a year. I'd be exhausted. and balancing other media equally at the same time seems equally exhausting
Seems like there's always something that one skews heavily towards. Sports fans will do a bunch of other things too but the pie chart of activities is largely sports. Same with motorheads

MMA is fun to watch, get on that

Who says rules don't change to lessen injuries in MMA? y'all need to simmer down Fr lol

It's possible in speaking ignorantly
but that sport looks devastating and dangerous to me
like when a dude is knocked out and the other guy continues to wallop his face while he's on the ground. I know it's fight til the ref stops it but I'm not fond of it
