I swear over the past couple years that album has crept closer and closer to S/T for me and now i feel like they are equal. Both are just so perfect. There are so many little bits from each one that i will sing randomly throughout the day like a vocal tick. I'll be doing something at work and randomly just start singing "She is gone......to the bank of the river" over and over lol

Time is perfection, but my first love on that album was def Bad Moon Rising and i think its my favorite song of theirs. The whole album is just very tightly knit and well done

God im so pissed they arent a band anymore. I would love another album from them

Yeah i wish they were still together but their popularity was and is microscopic. One can imagine COVID probably impacted them greatly. I'm just happy those 2 records exist.

Second half of Bad Moon Rising might be my favorite bit of music since it came out. They really know how to write a catchy hook and that riff is beyond infectious and how it just keeps building

Yeah they split into two separate off shoot bands but i havent listened to either of those groups stuff yet i dont think. Probably should just to see what its like, might be dope too

Speaking of HCTWJ I fear it'll be alot lower on my debut list then initially anticipated I've never viewed it as highly as his other 70s masterpieces. I looked back and realized I didn't even vote it in the 70s

Yeah the two new bands are called Oh Lonesome Ana and Renewer.

I think Oh Lonesome Ana is the one the lead vocalist created with the black girl bassist from SVGC. And Renewer is a project with the other two from SVGC

Watching an interview with the lead guy Evan now and apparently the lyrics on a lot of their stuff were written by his best friend, who also helped write a lot of SVGC's stuff. So thats another good sign.

Actually their whole album Megadeth Tee was written by his friend so im definitely gonna listen to that album asap

It is criminal how few views/subscribers SVGC and also Oh Lonesome Ana's youtube channels have lol. SVGC has 82 subscribers. Guys put out two of the best albums of the past 20 years and it basically went unnoticed
