On "The Dead Of Night" quest and so far,im impressed. Much more darker and ruthless then FF yet,and Im saying that at maybe,3hrs in. On a technical level,this might be the most impressive looking game on PS5. This game looks like one of those tech demos they faked with CGI,back in the PS3 days,but maybe a bit better.

I struggle so hard to hold the Square button to charge that s*** up, what button setup you using?

Are the performance drops that big of an issue, or should I wait for more patches?

I use type C but I bought the mastery for both burning blade and charge magic so they both fully charge in like 1 second

You can charge your stuff at almost any time so you can get them off a lot

Like you can Phoenix dash, hold square, and by the time you reach the enemy the blade will already be charged. You can also charge it while you’re doing various animations

You can charge the magic blast while you’re doing your basic sword combo and stuff like that

its not jedi survivor level u can play it and have good time

Wasn't paying attention on the abilities screen at all, didn't realise that pressing Triangle actually tells you that upgrading that skill would reduce the charge time

Probably gonna switch to Type C cause Type A kinda hinders your ability to charge attacks up since you got to do some claw grip s***

Naoki Yoshida is a whole clown. They could have gone full Bridgerton. They could have explained that Valisthea is diverse the way it is because it's a post-apocalyptic medieval world that is built on top of the ruins of an advanced society. So many ways to explain it especially with the whole Active Time Lore thing.

Yoshida said that it wouldn't make sense to have a diverse society because of how limited travel is. Yeah ok then how is Clive able to fast travel around the continent... I'm saving my judgment for the end but to me the world building is weak so far.
