Words can’t describe how bad I think this take is. Open world games are a disease

i mean, with games like TOTK and Elden Ring out there this isn’t that crazy of a take. some people want more from Square instead of less.

I love all the parallelism in the cutscenes.

Its a terrible take because its pretty much saying that every game should be an open world game. Wanting to turn XVI into open world isn’t people wanting more, its just them wanting a completely different game.

There should be a space for linear games and if a linear game can show you a vista that gives you a sense of awe and make you want to imagine whats there then I think it did a good job.

People tweeting s*** like this just sound like they hate linear games - in that case, they should probably just play another game

Done every side quest so far. About halfway through the game I think. This game is DARK DARK. GOTY easily so far

Open world isn’t inherently bad but it’s handled poorly more often than not

I hope I find a bundle in my country with this game

Otherwise I’d just buy it separate with the PS5

love me both, but I definitely prefer linear sometimes. open world games can be a bit too much for me
