just finished the Capital Punishment quest

enjoyed the hugo fight. guessing that was just an appetizer tho and the main one will come later down the line

torgal getting a cool transformation was nice but also kinda sucked since it's not like it'll be of any actual use in game

Though it doesn’t really matter what accessibility accessory you use (as long you aren’t acting like the game plays itself) I think the one I’m okay with using is the torgal assist cause maybe I’m dumb but switching between items and torgal is kinda hard to focus on when in combat

torgal sometimes does transform randomly

my menu is just on torgal 90% of the time. sometimes I'll accidentally be on the items menu and realize I wasted all my strength potions by mistake cus I'm trying to use ravage

he transforms into it during battles with big enemies, I guess he does a lil more damage and cast spells

I’m playing on FF mode rn and these mfs do a lot more damage so i don’t even be using torgals menu like that cause I’m tryna quick heal

You could do that with almost any FF game post 6.
Especially 7 and 8.

that’s how i was at the beginning. im not going out this weekend tho so i’ll have time to finish this. still like the story very much, there’s just other things this game lacks like longevity, stuff to buy/level up etc.

Seriously. Magic, swords and chocobos is basically what holds FF together they're all so different

Whats the consensus so far

There's a chunk of people not happy with the action combat/lack of RPG-ness

Mostly everyone else thinks it's rad

kinda want to change the control scheme but I'm already so used to it R1 dodge and L2 change eikon are definitely awkward

Its good but waiting for a sale or when it works best for you to play is the move its not a run out to stores and must buy now kind of situation. Some great bosses . Some odd pacing at times. Less RPG elements then we would want but fun
