Ngl these long ass cutscenes getting kinda annoying

the amount of elevators and enemy types was getting to me. Nah Exilir definitely helped there. Knowing when to use abilities against him vs get him down to stagger so you know it will hit him. Also recognize once he gets in the huge state not everything can connect with him til his hand goes down. You got this. But yeah I was 40 or so for that

ok so gameplay-wise i would rank it as the best FF, but as far as story and characters go it's not even in my top 5, s*** was hella boring

Hottest take ever probably to a classic FF fan but, this game is the ultimate evolution of what FF has been portraying in it's Character/FMVs for years. I remember getting into FF around 10 cause the characters & cutscenes look cool af like some action ass s*** but then being lowkey disappointed it was turn based but still loved the games anyway

3 mil is good but context matters. This game had a ton of marketing behind it, a ton of shilling from streamers and media outlets pre-release, gassed demo, and the game is releasing at a time where all PS5 owners are extremely desperate to have any reason at all to actually own this console.

It was only after everyone made their purchases that people started learning how flawed the game is

I feel you on that I don’t know ending but would be cool to see Clive again in another timeline or theme with same characters ( from whoever lives) retaining his memory from this but in future or modern day with party system more over the top . Less game of thrones . The game of thrones parts don’t hit like that for me

true I respect the passion. I just really wish people would say what they like about something rather than its ranking be it reviews, game of the year, greatest anything ever it always reads better when people say what makes them feel that passionate than just the hyperbole
