He has not played any other FF games by his own admission. He doesn’t know what an FF game is. He finished over a week ago and is still in here downplaying it on an hourly basis and making sure to push whatever narrative the other edgy guys in here are.

FINAL FANTASY TACTICS ADVANCED IS A FINAL FANTASY GAME
I was one of the first to beat this in this thread lol I loved parts of it
The game is a 8 to me but I don't like number reviews. I could understand though on someone else's scale how they could say 6.5 lol. That isn't downplaying it . I played 60 hours of the game

This is an action game I am joking when I say new IP but without a lot of the RPG elements , party system, elemental damage and at times taking itself unnecessarily serious or lacking emotion. Parts of it feel boneless or soul less and other parts fire

DNAAFinally completed the game, those last few hours of storytelling was absolutely stunning.
Clive could honestly be my second favourite main with Cloud still being top for obvious reasons. Voiced perfectly. Entire cast were so good, none of that cringe s***. Gav the geordie really shinning.
They should continue to use Eikons like this in future games. Bahamut battle seriously is god tier in terms of awe.
Map was massive, and I hope FF7R2 copies it!
And the end was sweet, and fairly annoying at the same time. But I did cry like a b****.
My major gripes:
-Last Boss in some stages reminded me of a certain other godly boss, and it felt cheap.- 50% in the game stupidly forces you into tedious “main story side quests” which really destroyed the flow. Made me so f***ing angry.
- Barnabus, quite easily the hardest boss in the game.
- Why wasn’t there Poison/Stunned
- Eikons needed more abilities
- Massive cutscenes to end, and have me talk to the same person straight after it finished.

Nah it’s bad in this game especially, his regular movement speed is ass lol
Activating his sprint takes way too long to even worry about it , they should’ve gave a sprint button instead of making it where it automatically activates after a certain time

FOREVAi feel you heavy on some parts. i was one of the most excited members itt and i even got the game early but i still haven’t finished it. it just feels like such a drag at times. the highs in this game are so incredibly and undeniably high that it makes the “mid“ parts that come afterwards feel even worse than mid. the pacing is truly horrendous and i feel like a lot of people itt still have their heart glasses on while some others are ready to criticize faults of the game (which it definitely has a fair share of).
this is pretty much my take. mid sections that wouldn’t be so glaringly mid if not for how stunning the set pieces are. tho ultimately similar to ff xv in that regard funnily enough

…dude come on don’t use the disavowed child of final fantasy to say you know the context of the full series.
on real if you haven’t played tactics for ps1 and like the political intrigue parts of xvi you should definitely check it out

Lighting Rod + Will ‘o Wisp both leveled up is f***ing broken, using those two together will stagger both mini bosses and bosses in seconds (throw Impulse out there to lock them in place and it’s over).
Same with leveled up Ignition with the damage boost accessory. Absolutely decimates regular enemies.
