First playthrough I was shocked at how much of a challenge these dudes gave me compared to some previous boss fights lmao, but tbh throw on the Magnify materia with Lightning maxed out.

Use the lightning/elemental materia combo too on your sword, and just keep dodging their s*** as best you can.

Didn't bother me as much on my first playthrough but they really gotta stop slowing me down man ffs

nah im talking about the points in the game where they make your character walk instead of run and s***

Oh word lol. Definitely frustrating while doing chapsel for some of the extras. Part of the reason I'm holding off on replaying the whole thing through for now

Did y’all complete all the battle challenge things in your first play through?

This magic mastery one is kicking my ass. I’m trying grind in the last battle simulator with AP Up on the revival materia but I’m still 2000 AP away...

Waited til after for that one. You get double ap for everything and one of the new simulator fights makes it a lot easier to grind

Id say it's really easy to grind postgame. Went from low 30 to lvl 50 in a couple hours max. Just finish out the game bro, mastering all magic materia is bordering bonus territory anyways lol

I just go to Ch 17 and practice materia setups on the battle simulator. Steadfast and First Strike Materia necessary for Hard mode imo.
