I mean, the big tech companies are tracking our data and locations

It isn't exactly like it but it is slowly becoming somewhat of a reality

    Honestly.

Screw epic lmfao. 30% is the standard. And they signed contracts and agreed to those rates.

They purposely trying to stir up s***

  • Aug 13, 2020

Lmao those dudes who bought an Ipad just to compete against console players for easy money took an L

  • Aug 13, 2020

    lol ccp vs apple

  • Apple removed Fortnite because they weren't getting "their cut of the $". They're a trillion dollar company. Their shady practices are being exposed even more after the Congressional hearing. But since they're all monopolies there's little that can be done

app store grossly takes so much money out of apps that lets you buy directly from apps. dont let you have video game streaming apps (they only want Apple Arcade, cant stream Xbox/Microsoft Games, no Facebook games, no Steam I think)

    s*** is insanely gross

    Thoughts now? 😊😊😊

  • can you guys bring me up to speed on this?

i read on twitter its due to them dropping the prices on the currency in the app, but why would that affect apple?

  • okay just caught up

30% is a lot i can understand them trying to bypass, but being promoted in the app store puts you in a billion pockets

  • Aug 14, 2020

Looks like Google just gave them the boot as well.

Baiting Apple into a lawsuit kinda genius actually

Not really. It's a losing case because Epic agreed to Apple terms when they decided to put the game on the app store. Then adding a direct buy option violates that term as pointed out by Apple. They broke the rules, got mad they can't get 100% of the profit, then called apple a dictatorship and throwing an antitrust lawsuit on them. It's not really bait, it's kind of stupid and a waste of money. Google has the Same exact rules.

Edit: looks like Google just kicked them out the play store for doing the exact same thing.
