I've met a couple of Black Cops and honestly they really did seem to want to change the negative aura that we get around cops, try to be one of the ones we can trust. I think most police are corrupt and prioritize the brotherhood of the PD above the community tho. So its not something I would do myself. I do get why a Black person would feel like they are doing something valuable by being a cop.
