Mfs had me convinced Tory was gonna beat the case only to find out they had no idea what they were talking about
The use of “only” is wild lol
If he can beat the worst of these he’ll be back in a few years
kttlaw what does this look like in terms of yrs in the balance?
65 was never for one person though. It was teh sum of the whole organization if im not mistaken

Thug would be lucky if he gets 10-15 years. It's likely he's getting around 30-50 years imo

How long can we expect this trial to go?
remember the judge mentioning 6 months minimum
remember the judge mentioning 6 months minimum
Damn, 6 months is the minimum? Sheesh.
I'm over here thinking that it was gonna be 3 or 4 weeks at the most.

plenty witnesses to go through. the case is also gonna be a mess with the amount of lyrics they used as evidence
Young Thug's charges
1. Conspiracy to Violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations: (Minimum: 5 years Maximum: 20 years)
2. Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity (Minimum: 5 years Maximum: 20 years)
3. Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity (Minimum: 5 years Maximum: 20 years)
4. Possession of Marijuana w/ intent to distribute (Minimum: 1 year Maximum: 30 years)
5. Possession of Codeine w/ intent to distribute (Minimum: 1 year Maximum: 30 years)
6. Possession of Cocaine (Minimum: 1 year Maximum: 30 years)
7. Possession of Firearm (5 years)
8. Possession of Machine Gun (5 years)
Man I knew from the jump it was bigger than rap. I really think it had a lot to do, in the beginning, with whoever shot Wayne’s bus up.
He should be able to beat the d*** charges.
They found the machine gun at his house but he has alot of people living at his house so his lawyer can argue that it's not his. That charge is beatable too.
The hardest ones to beat is the Conspiracy to Violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) and the 2 Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity. They have alot of evidence and witnesses for those 3 charges.
If he is found guilty on those 3 charges and gets the maximum sentence, he is facing 60 years.
If he is found guilty on all the charges, he is facing 100+ years.

those sentences would all run concurrently though right
those sentences would all run concurrently though right
It's up to the judge to decide
They usually decide to run concurrently or consecutively based on the defendants prior criminal history and the severity of the crime.

People who was following that trial thought Tory was going to be found innocent on some of the charges because there was too much conflicting witness testimony and alot of reasonable doubt.
The main reason why he was found guilty on all charges was because the jurors sat through Kelsey's entire September interview where she said Tory did it and she explained everything in detail.
Most of KTT and the internet didn't hear Kelsey's full September interview until it leaked (audio couldnt be recorded in that courtroom).
The jurors used that interview to make their decision since it was more honest and detailed rather than Kelsey's conflicting witness testimony where she seemed dishonest and constantly pleaded the 5th.
You can know everything about a case and still be wrong about the verdict.
No one knows for sure how cases like these are gonna go.
All it could take is one powerful evidence to completely sway the juror's emotions.
That's why Thug is in trouble because he has a bunch of witnesses in his own crew ready to tell on him.
