The Wikipedia for the actor who plays the recurring dream character spoils his part.
Pissed that I just read that.
Some terrible takes last few pages itt. Please start looking past your own expectations and conclusions and start dealing with what is actually presented

Not gonna go check to confirm
But I thought it was odd that his name was Earnest + the main character of episode 4 calls him “E” without him ever introducing himself if I remember correctly

Lmaoo people are tho and the consensus is that it’s basic tumblr meme level of deep metaphors about reparations/white guilt
And that’sok people who still don’t understand or willing choosing to ignore need this sometimes
The black people who watch this show don’t. and if our opinion don’t matter then who is he making this white guilt p*** for lol

It’s definitely a current trend rn to make white people feel guilty about being white. I personally don’t care to do that, if you not racist that’s good enough for me. So this episode is more so for white people who needs to learn about slavery, and black folks who love throwing out white guilt.
For example, majority of niggas watched the storming of the capital and complained about “see that’s white privilege!!! Only white ppl get to do s*** like that smh!!!”
But I personally looked at it from a different perspective and thought “isn’t that what you suppose to do? If you have a problem with the higher ups shouldn’t you protest them directly?”….I personally could care less about white people protesting in a building filled with mostly other white people. I’d rather that instead of protesting and violating black communities

In, 2 great episodes
Yeah these are for non blacks lmao
the way people using these big words and these deep ass explanations to try and get cookie points for liking these given the subject matter
Media virtue signaling is crazy

Yea I don't think that criticism is fair lol. I mean the point of the episode is to raise awareness to non-black people right? So when a non-black person speaks out and says they are paying attention and listening we can't turn around and say "you just tryna get cookie points" lol

North of the Border still my #1 episode

They were not protesting lol. Sure as hell not peacefully.
They were rioting. Looting a building. Big difference.

Ok that's fine we can call it that. Still doesn't change my opinion, why would I care that white people are looting a building filled with mostly white people? Like I said, as long as they aren't bringing that s*** to black communities or other communities that are mostly non-white idgaf
Honestly thought all white people are related to slave owners in someway

Lmao conveniently in front of millions of other people especially given the subject matter of episode 4
“an unsparing, precise, thoughtful and moving mosaic that has literary depth. No eye candy just eye protein”
But my post was word vomit 😂
It’s twilight zone to see this “it’s good bc it’s woke. you’re just not thinking deep enough” s*** working on people lol.
This is what people who hate Cole fandom think J Cole does but Donald is actually doing that rn lmao

Do you like the show as a whole and just dislike this episode?

Nigga the first two seasons is probably my favorite show from the past decade aside from Better Call Saul lol
I liked Episode 2 and the White Guilt Mansion episode lol.
It’s these random racial lesson episodes that are throwing me off. These should be extras on Hulu/YouTube lmao we got less than 20 episodes left and he using this time to teach 30+ year old white people how to pretend to not be s***ty people. Goes against everything these “lessons” are rooted in but I guess we gotta wait for him to do another interview with himself 5 years from now where he apologizes for ruining his show by inversely catering to white people

I mean if we being honest I didn't learn anything from this episode. I don't think any nigga did. So maybe it was a timeout to allow white folks to catch up? Idk man, I just trust Donalds vision. I still found it enjoyable minus the lack of the main 4 and the on the nose dialogue about slavery towards the end.
