You nailed it I usually find "It was all just a dream" type endings lazy and terrible. But it really works for this show, it actually makes a lot of sense for all of the show to be a dream

Darius was talking about dejavu and seeing the dog with Texas on it in the first episode. Al didn't face any serious consequences for shooting that guy. Ted Perkins episode feels like it could be a sensory deprivation tank trip. Darius just showing up at that Drake party. Earn's dreams about hands reaching out to grab him from below water

I love this ending because it feels like they thought of it from the start with all the foreshadowing they threw in the show. It actually feels open to interpretation because both interpretations feel valid. Rewatches are going to be crazy
